Banking On Park Cash
VISITORS to Rotherham town centre have helped a car park company raise more than £84,000 for Bluebell Wood. Bank Park gives a donation for each of its sites, which include lo-cations across South Yorkshire and further afield. These donations have added up to £71,822 since 2012, with an-other 112,300 raised through clothing banks for the North Anston children's hospice.
Bluebell Wood corporate fundraising manager Rachael Dawes said: "We're incredibly impressed at the amount Bank Park, and drivers using their car parks, have helped to raise for Bluebell Wood so far. "This just goes to show a day out shopping or an evening out can also help a great cause if you choose a Pay & Give car park.
"We'd like to say a huge thank you to Bank Park for all their support and for the donations that car park users have made to our clothing banks too, which have helped to raise even more funds so that we can help families make special memories together." Bank Park also owns live music venue The Trades, Rotherham town centre, which hosts events in support of Bluebell Wood and other charities.
