New Bank Park site extends support for St Luke’s Hospice
As we launch a new car parking site in Cavendish Street we are also continuing our support for St Luke’s.
Bank Park has already raised more than £14,000 for patient services, with Managing Director Ashley Kelley choosing St Luke’s in recognition of the support he and his family received when his mother was a patient.
That link was further strengthened when fellow director Karen Thorpe’s dad became a patient in 2018,
“We opened on Cavendish Street just a few days after my father passed away in St Luke’s so I would like to think that this was in memory of him,” Karen says.
“During a difficult time whilst my dad was being cared for by the wonderful St Luke’s team we had first-hand experience of how costly the hospice is to run and how much the facility totally relies on fundraising.
“So with our parking customers help we are now able to give back to St Luke’s in memory of my father and to show our thanks and support.”
Cavendish Street has approximately 80 spaces and is close to the centre of town so is very handy for both city centre workers and shoppers, with prices starting at just £1 for up to two hours and as little as £5 for a full day
